How about a standard of ettiquet for the correspondense to users of the forums that claim ASAP affiliation?

I am a volunteer in a forum that seems to have no standard by which to measure themself.  I am seeing quite a bit of intentional beratement to users that may have english skill problems.  Some have a serious lack of PC skills.  The users faulty english is pointed out and then barraged with insults and judgments by the very people that are supposed experts in ASAP namesake.  I find that to be offensive to read and accept as a member of this forum.  The users need help with the X-ware infestation they face not the grammer, punctuation, and spelling errors on their posts nor should the lack of PC ability of the user become the forum joke.  This is not back room stuff that is not visible to the user, it is fully exposed to the users, guests, members, trainees, moderators, admins of the site.  In some cases the site moderators and Webmasters are taking part.

Is there some standards committee we can begin that can have the duty of making a document to follow and adhere to?  Then perhaps a ruling made based on investigation findings to remove the ASAP logo from the site if a certain number of violations is determined within a preset length of time.  Warnings could be placed here for those with too many violations.  The site under investigation can be asked to clean up the practice(s) by another preset period or be removed from the ASAP affiliation and exposed as such here at this site.

If you claim to be affiliated by a group or organization of some signifigance but the group allows such operations go unchecked then by what signifigance is the affiliation anyway?  Where is the governing book of ethics in such matters?

Thanks for your time.

Before anyone can jump to any conclusions, you must, of course provide links so we all can ascertain the validity of your claims.

Once you can do that, then we can  all make informed decisions and form opinions.

Thanks.

Yes I agree, we cannot do anything about the problem if we do not know where it is occurring.  Please give us a link to one of these posts that you refer to or at least tell us which forum it is where you have observed this behaviour, so that we can investigate the problem ourselves.

Would this qualify in your estimation?

CastleCops: Our Vision

Inspite of the unsubstantiated examples given, the suggestion was that ASAP membership could include standards not unlike those of say the Better Business Bureau ?

Best regards
