Hello,

Having a real problem with connecting ipodtouch 1st gen to my laptop.

2nd gen and older ipod mini no problems at all!

Becoming a major issue now as I can't add my songs to it anymore

Is this easily solved?

Have already tried all usual fixes i.e. uninstall/re-install itunes, reset ipod etc

I'm running windows XP media edition SP2 if that helps. When computer crahes (and it is almost instant!) it says "created exception at 0x00007e or something like that, it clears too quickly to read it.

Can anybody help?

Thank you if you can
