This site is an independent reconstruction. We rebuilt maddoktor2.com as a fresh, modern resource on the same subject — malware removal, anti-spyware, and PC security and privacy — because the need it served hasn't gone away.

To be completely clear: we are not the original community, forum, team or any of the people who ran the old site, and we don't claim to be. We have no affiliation with them and we make no claim to inherit their reputation or membership in any group. Everything published here is our own independent work, written under the rules in our editorial charter.

Why keep the domain alive

Rather than let a domain with a long history of helping people simply disappear, we chose to build something useful on it again. Old inbound links that pointed at forum or index pages now lead here, to current guides, instead of dead ends.
